​May Abu Jaber is a multidisciplinary graphic designer and creative director with over nine years of experience crafting visual identities, editorial layouts, and branded experiences for clients across the UAE, Canada, and the UK. Her work is rooted in storytelling, strategic thinking, and a love for clean, purposeful design.
With a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford, she brings a research-driven, human-centered approach to every project. She began her career designing reports and digital content for human rights organizations in Toronto, which later evolved into leading creative direction for international events and socially conscious brands such as Capitalize for Kids.
Her design practice spans a wide range of sectors—from education and healthcare to events and publishing. As the founder of Twinkle and Giraffe Designs, she specializes in branding, product design, and illustrated materials, with a focus on children’s education and thoughtful gifting. She has also led visual branding and event design for international events and conferences such as Capitalize for Kids in Toronto, where she created high-impact digital and print materials for Canada’s largest investors conference, aligning sponsor branding with a powerful social mission on kids' mental health.
Whether she is developing a full identity system, designing packaging, or creating bilingual communication materials, her goal is to design with clarity, elegance, and emotional resonance.
Fluent in Arabic, English, and Spanish she creates work that feels both local and global—grounded in meaning, and made to last.
